Already searched forums and I cant find any tutorials, and goldrush doesnt have any (off the top of my head, didnt check), but How do I make glass shatter/break?

make it into func_explosive.Then you can pick type glass, and the debris will look like glass.
Yes, the key/value pair of type/glass will give u the sound of breaking glass and the debris looking like it. You ll also need these key/value pairs:
health 15 (is the amount of damage the glass can take before breaking)
dmg 35 (is the damage the breaking glass gives to the environment, eg a player who breaks it with its knife)
mass 75 (defines the amount of debris = pieces of breaking glass falling down)
spawnflags 4 (u get that by checking “useshader”)
The textures for glass are in the textures/props folder (if i m right lol).

But now that i can look it up… what are the fwindow1, fwindow1_1
and fwindow1_1_oasis from the props shader good for? They def look like glass to me.
In the sfx u got glass, safety_glass and tramglass2 but those are def not the texes I used for the breakable see-through windows i built for The River II.
well, that worked, but its too easy to break, i mean, you can break it by just running into it.
Hmmm change the value of the health? U should read the text in the entity window… there s a lot of interesting things to read in there (sry for sounding sarcastic lol).
ya, but there’s glass ingame that take one knife shot and a blue bar of about the width of | and you touch it all the time, and it doesnt instantly shatter

Not seen them before, the above one and the shader before it, are model shaders if your intrested.

the glass breaks just from touching it, any suggestions?
I think you should compare your key/value settings with the key/value settings I posted as my first answer… your spawnflag is NOT 4.
I’m not with a copy of Radiant at the moment, so can’t look it up exactly for you…
maybe you have a key/value pair or a flag set to touchable? (unless you accidentally set up a trigger to that glass brush to do it ;))
It is a func_explosive and not a different one right?
