Wrong. The chance of establishing fun and cheater free games again will rise. It’s not a final solution, but a very effective workaround at the moment.

You appear to be looking at it as if there is only one solution. There isn’t. What I am saying is that you don’t need admins, you need a kick vote system, which is also open to abuse as every system is, but if based on a say 75% pass limit, would be perfectly adequate for dealing with cheaters and to digress slightly, could also be open to other options such as shuffle voting (when games are unbalanced and people seem either unwilling to swap or don’t notice the imbalance) with a maybe 50% pass on it. A much better system, at least imho
I have no idea why people are finding it so hard to understand…
We all know that we need Anti-Cheat, Votekick System and Reporting system… Systems take time to create and perfect… Giving a few people a password is instant.
You forgot that all this needs time to implement. But well if you like to stay with the cheaters on the servers while waiting for the solutions you mentioned, have fun!

We’re while we’re looking to add functionality to allow you to have more control over who you play with, server admin isn’t something that we’re looking to dish out right at this moment in time. With that said, who knows where internal discussions will take us over the coming days.

Ok, in the absence of any constructive points i’ll leave you to the ad hominem and let you get on with designing the game how only you see fit. If you get really bored though you might want to look at the console commands where you’ll find nice little phrases like votekickplayer. I’m sure you’re right though and it’ll take them years to bring that one into functionality. It’s just there to pad out the file size
If you’re interested the next step was to get the UX guys to knock something up.
