I’m not sure how highlighting the fact that the game’s been in development for longer than it should have been and has /still/ been released in a far less than perfect technical condition is a defense…
It has a rushed feel to it, no matter how long the dev time.
PS - I still love Brink.

As for the game “sucking” or what have you, it’s not even out in Europe yet and SD have released a patch to fix some of the bugs it had, and it’s only been out 3 days, this type of game is bound to have bugs.
While this “run and patch” tactic is now industry standard for a lot of publishers, it’s still disheartening for gamers when a title they’ve been following with great anticipation for years is released by a company they /know/ is more than competent in such an unfinished state.
Yes, they can patch it and fix it and most likely Brink will find its legs in a few weeks and many of the naysayers will come crawling back… first impressions, unfortunately, do count for a lot.
PS - I still love Brink.

Just give them time to get them ironed out and more feedback and i’m sure this game will rock out with its …well you get where im going.
Again, we are/will, but damage has been done to the rep of SD and their game and that’s a real shame.

Everyones entitled to their own opinion and i appreciate that but just give them time to iron out the creases, if you still feel that the game sucks then, well then maybe this isn’t a game for you.
Anyway, let the abuse begin puts on helmet
Please don’t confuse people who think the game sucks because it’s been released in a beta format with the people who just don’t like the gameplay. There are a lot of people who love SD who feel let down by Brink, and rightly so.
Many of us thought Brink was going to be released to a slew of praise and crash passed the generic standard like a frenzied demon of creative passion and technical brilliance. This didn’t happen, and it could have happened, and it’s a shame.
PS - I stil… oh, I hope you get the idea by now…
