gfh mod?!

I was just looking on server lists ( ASE ) and i have found two servers with fs_game “gfh”
they can’t be connected because they don’t have autodownload
it seems they are using urban terror maps
they are also certainly on ET ( 2.60 , linux )
first is:

Strange.
Last thing I know about ET:UT is that they wanted to make a standalone game based on the Q3 game source (or was this another mod?).
I’m getting old :smiley:

May be these modders have converted all the Q3:UT stuff to W:ET.
Haven’t heard of this mod before.

Urban Terror is a mod for Q3 but they had plans to convert to ET.
But those plans changed, haven’t followed the rest.

AFAIK they have the ET engine code and are developing a new UT on it, with vehicles and the like.

SID or FrozenSand as they are called now, are doing one last version for Quake3, called 3.8. After that they will make a totally new rewritten version of UrbanTerror on another engine, which is still unknown, but seems to be modified Q3 for now. But they might change that later.

They are doing the same stupid thing as PoP =/
UrT was a very populair mod for Q3 and would have done nice on ET.

didn’t the Urban Terror team get hired ?..I remember hearing that months ago.
