Getting Rid of Hackers (Video Commentary) (Suggestion)

Disagree. Matchmaking will just result in all the good players being paired up with cheaters, it’s not an effective way of actually reducing the cheaters and in fact could be worse. It will ruin the stats of the good players, then it will match them with actual bad players and you said in your video, the reason people cheat is because they keep playing against good players.

Not really because you are assuming that there is a lot of cheaters in this game that play on a high level, but I would say that the actual number of hacker is so little that you wouldn’t play against a hacker in every game. It’s about taking away the reason to hack and also getting rid of the current ones. That’s why I also added that 2 anti-cheats and a reporting system that has a lot of options will also help get rid of the current ones. The fact is that when a F2p game banns 100 cheaters 200 are created because of poor matchmaking creating a reason to hack. What I suggested is a way to prevent new cheaters from being created, while they ban the current ones.

There’s being good, then there’s being inhuman, if you’re getting 20000 points on average in matchmaking…yea, come on.

Even the best players in the game assuming they are playing with people of an equal skill level are not going to get that high. 10000 I can see, but 20000…please.

At that point you’d just have hackers playing against hackers. Which is like a personal hell for them basically.

if you rank people based on win/loss, then matches will be a lot more even, which will even out the win/loss stats, which will make things uneven again…

There does need to be some major improvements to team balancing tho, as well as easier reporting for cheats and better systems for catching them.

I have gotten 20K plus points. This gameplay is one of those 20k points. Not every good player are hackers, unless you see me hacking in this video.

Ok, I’ll be more specific, Stopwatch or Objective?

If you’re getting that many point in Objective…I’d be suspicious. Stopwatch not so much, you can easily get 50 kills or more in two rounds.

I think you have misunderstood what I said. Introducing matchmaking based on K/D and W/L won’t reduce the amount of cheaters. Why? Because cheaters will have a good K/D and W/L and will then be paired up with good players that they can’t beat without cheats.

also cheaters don’t cheat exclusively cause they are terrible players. Some people just get a kick out of being the village idiot.

I have gotten 15k in objective before. I can easily get 20k points because I get a decent amount of kills and the the most OBJ in the whole match. An example of this when I play object mode on trainyard I plant at least 3 bombs on the side obj and at least 2 or 3 plants on the main obj. Points aren’t hard to earn.

I stink yet I earn points pretty well.
