Getting old event codes?

(pinny0101) #1

Hey guys, I recently bought one of the old alienware codes and am loving the skins, however I have been totally unsuccessful in finding codes for other events such as humble bundle, founder, beta, and alienware for the non skyhammer/aura mercs. If anyone know someone who has one of the codes for sale or a place where I can buy them it would be appreciated!

there are no Founders codes, no idea if any others would be available

alright, I wasn’t sure if founders cards were given through codes or what, it seems odd though that sites wouldn’t have things like humble bundle codes though…

Humble Bundle codes weren’t free, alienware and logitech were

Your best bet is to go on SteamTrades, it’s a website where people trade steam games, codes, etc. I know there was a ton of codes available at one point. You’ll have to look a bit and see if you can get one for a decent price/trade. I was actually looking for the Logitech/Alienware codes myself, only have the Aura/Skyhammer from Alienware.

G2A.COM if you really want to buy codes.

Alienware was only available for Aura and Skyhammer.

I don’t think Founder card codes exist

Humble Bundle was given for people who bought something Dirty Bomb related on the HB website for a specific amount of cash (I think 15$ but I’m not sure) so I don’t think anyone will be selling a code for HB cards, but you might get lucky.

You can also search for Logitech cards (also only for Aura and Skyhammer though) if you want. In my opinion they have cooler skins but the loadouts themselves are not that good (damn 1st edition loadouts)

Alienware handed out another batch of codes which gave you skins for other mercs than Skyhammer and Aura. I remember some people even got two loadout cards.

You can read more about the various events and giveaways in the following thread.
Everything except the ranked season two eagle skins is included there.

Ok yeah that makes sense.

Thanks, got the alienware v2 for $5

Founders Packs were only available pre-Alpha, early 2013 and only offered to a small group of Splashies and only for a very limited time

No problem. Glad you got a code!

With founders cards they were rewards for pretty much crowd funding the early development, and were given pre-steam integration so no-way your getting those unless you bought a founder’s steam account.
Humble bundle, logitech, and alienware were the only cards given through steam codes so that’s why they are the only ones found on places like G2A and Kinguin.
For other event cards…just hope they add trading in the next decade. :stuck_out_tongue:
