Getting kicked because you're too good
I’ve never had a problem vote kicking cheaters. Just tell everyone in voip to press f1. It’s not hard at all.

EDIT: Just successfully kicked one. Took a couple tries and yelling through voip to press F1 but we got it.
wait is voip not just for your own team? I am confused now? Or did you kick a Player from your team for beeing awesome? (just kidding here, but the VIOP Question is real)

SD changed the vote parameters in this last patch

Once had a guy try and votekick me after a teamshuffle because in the previous round I was screwing around with Fragger and kept shoe shining people with grenades as I died. He got mad about it and I said something snarky in chat and that’s what he responded with.

(litheJacket) #24

well i can’t believe zlatan ibrahimovic playing dirty bomb

(PurpleNurple) #25

Quotes don’t work from my phone and I don’t know how to tag from my phone soooo…

@[Ger] All I did was was initiate a vote kick then tell my team mates through voip that “x” was a cheater and he needed to be kicked over and over. Of course the cheater then got on voip and started making random sounds so they couldn’t hear me but in the end he got kicked. It took awhile and ended up still giving us the win, but atleast he got removed from the game.

I always switch to spectate mode when someone is being called out and check on the person before I initiate vote kicks. :stuck_out_tongue:

Me and a friend got kicked once cause we entered a 1vs.1 game where 2 asians farmed points.

(STOGE) #27

I understand it being an issue in <level 10 public servers, but kick attempts have been made on me in matchmaking games, and even PUGS (Other players came to our mumble because I was “definitely hacking bro”), kind of ridiculous tbh.

(extraordinaryEmperor) #28

Well the problem is losing all your xp and potential games played/won for your contracts. So maybe you should keep them if you get kicked.

(Kroad) #29

so what do you do when you get kicked from min level 10 server, as happened to me earlier and I’m sure others? Min level 20 servers?

level 10 =/= good at the game, same goes for level 20, 30, etc, there will be level 80s calling hacks on good players in future too, some people can play thousands of hours of an fps game and still be shit at it
Sometimes, it can be quite hard to tell the difference between min level 10 and normal servers, and i assure you that hacks get called just as match.

(Jojack) #30

I guarantee most of these cheater kicks getting posted in here were actually just good players being accused of hacking.

Nearly every game I play now has someone hackusing someone on the other team and calling for a vote kick (no not me, I’m not good enough).

Played against chickenNwaffles for a few matches today in a min10 server. Yep, my team were screaming hacks. He went like 52-7 on Sparks in an objective game on Chapel.

I have experienced a bug several times that feels like getting kicked from a server. It drops out mid match and loads up the home screen. No error is displayed and the game itself does not crash. If you open the console you will see a profile error as the reason.

Then again if you are watching them vote you out, hit F2 and best of luck.

Maybe people “hackuse” because about 1/2-3/4 of most FPS’ do in fact hack lol. So it’s extremely hard to tell which ones are hacking and which are actually good. However odds would favor to the person calling hacker over the person calling good player as there are far more hackers than good players these days. Proof of my numbers would be games like H1Z1 where they’ve banned upwards of 40k people and only had a starting population of around 50k.

Face it, hacks are a lucrative business these days. The LoL hack has made well about a million, almost every month. Until there are actual real life reprecussion for cheating, people will continue to do it as there is no real punishment, any ban can be worked around. If this company chooses not to fight the good fight then it will be “popular” like the rest because the majority will hack their balls off like CSGO.

Yes. There’s no point in getting butthurt over something you have no control over. A votekick is just that, a vote to kick someone. There is nothing SD can do about that other than removing it entirely, and I can guarantee you that is not going to happen. Find another server, move on. Once we can host servers you can find a good community to join and play there regularily.

Oh goodness, you don’t actually believe this do you? I feel sorry for you. MM has a decent amount of hackers (one every few games). Normal pubs have virtually zero hackers. I know this because I’m better than about 95% of the player base in them, and I know I’m not better than a hacker. I’m not even good compared to people that are actually good. I’m a total casual.

So if 75% of the population is hacking. Man, those are some broken hacks if they can’t even beat an above average casual 36 year old has been. It’s not hard to tell which are good and which are hacking. It’s only hard when the hacker is really skilled at hiding it, and that’s pretty rare.

(SchwaD) #35

what about start playing against equal enemies on MM or on the pubs which requires a min lvl?

Stop bashing newbies and no one will kick you being awesome, cause you are not anymore

He doesn’t get to choose who he plays against and I’ve only seen a min level 10 server with people in it once.

What’s funny about that statement is that you are actually probably beating a good many hackers lol.

For the most part hacks work like this:

Bad player with hacks = Bad player
Average player with hacks = Above average player
Skilled player with hacks = God mode

I beat people with hacks quite regularly, I know this because in H1Z1 I’ve killed three teleport hackers, numerous times. Hell I’ve beaten a few trigger bots in CSGO. Hacks only do so much for a player that has 0 skill. It’s why I use the term “gamer” very loosely these days. I am also an above average 31 year old gamer myself  . I say above average as in most of the plebs I encounter are so horrible it would seem to put me above the average lol.

But yes I still stick with my theory that around 50-75% of most FPS’ playerbases, hack. Especially the more popular the game is.
