If you keep the arming key held down after you plant, you get stuck in the animation (it will keep looping until you hit a key):
If you press Jump, then you end up with no weapon:
If you press fire, the C4 animation plays once and they you are returned to your primary weapon. Seems to happen on any C4 objective.
