That’s why there are 3DSMax tutorials out there…
And once you got the model, there are exporters and their respective tutorials.

3DSMax ships with extensive help files and plenty of tutorials.
You might be better off trying a free modelling app such as Wings 3D or Blender firt. There are also plenty of tutorials out there for those programs. Google!

If you want to learn how to use milkshape3d for a project like this;
I made 4 video tutorials, from “start” all of the way to “skinning” and “export as md3”.

No I don’t use MilShape because the tiral period was ended:( I didnt got mony for the full version, i only got 3dsmax, gmax, maya
