i will be clear, i don’t want to be cocky or something but the more i play the game the more i think that most of the players are ‘‘blind’’. is it only my idea? pls let me know cause sometimes i can’t find a different explanation in certain things(and i try for it).

f.e i’m dead while trying to plant the obj with an objective specialist merc and then medic arrives BUT instead of reviving me to plant it(takes about 2secs to revive and 5secs for me to plant then, 7secs) he/she prefers to plant the obj aaaand probably dies cause they need about 10secs just to plant. so we get 2 dead and no plant…

that’s only one from many many examples… let me know…

Yes, you will find this a lot in pubs. “Team work” is key in Dirty Bomb, but it’s very hard when no one will work as a team. Bare in mind a lot of people may be trying out new mercs and such, and thus they may not be as strategic with them as you might expect.

Just because someone’s playing a medic, doesn’t mean they know how to play them. This is why I try to play a supportive class as much as possible, because at least if my team is kind of “meh”, I can still support each and every one, either as a medic reviving them all or as an engineer helping to push the objective.

It’s an issue that’s been raised before and will time-and-time-again. Some players are good, some players are bad. Some play like a proper team-mate, others believe they are Rambo, or something.

It’s just the way public matches are and there’s nothing you can do to “fix” it. :s The best bet is to hope for a bigger and better tutorial in the future! :slight_smile:

I say this pretty much every time this thread comes up… people sometimes just have off-days. This absolutely includes myself, I could be the best player going MVP match after match one day, then the next I’m barely able to aim and dying left and right… sometimes both directions at once if I explode. Point is, and @Faraleth touched on this too, you can’t always blame your team, they may be trying a new merc, or fulfilling a mission requirement, it’s hard to know, but it’s not always their fault.

The greatest asset one can have in any online game is patience… patience is the key, it may not help you win when you have a terrible team, but it will help you not get overly frustrated.

for sure the skill of the players so far is low. but the question is if u have faced situations like this one. if yes, we can gather a bunch of them here so players can lern to avoid them… cause lets be honest some players are good, some are bad and many -most of them- do not have a clue of what to do. we can help them by mentioning the big lets say mistakes.

that is totally understandable man and happens to everyone. but believe me even if u try a new merc u can’t be that bad 1-43… u need to try to be that bad, really…

I had an entire team earlier, as I was complaining to @JesseKomm on Steam, that had absolutely NO kills the entire round. I was the only person who got kills (going 12/6) as Sparks and the rest of my team were all deaths.

I have never force-closed so hard in my life. I know the feels. Q-Q

been there as a sparks also… my team was ‘‘forcing’’ me to play more aggressively (thing that i like) but my role was not to do the kills…

Yeah, next time I’ll hop on your game and back you up! No one should endure a game being by yourself :frowning: I know that very well, in fact just had a match where I was the only person doing anything objective related on Chapel attack as Fragger. By the end of it I was MVP and the second place person on my team complained I killed them too much instead of doing the objective. I cleared the enemy team four times in a row while my team sat behind sniping with the objective in hand, not my fault.

Since he’s got only 1 kill, he must have done something useful for those 2.5K XP. Unless he was on defense and only picked up “long defense” bonuses…

K/D is meaningless if you do something productive while you’re alive. Not saying this person did in this specific case, but you can’t draw a conclusion with those numbers alone.

SOMETHING USEFUL??? 2.5k is nothing man. it just meat that not at every respawn he just farmed the ‘‘E’’ button. he was not even good at this
