I was going through a preview that was released today, and I stumbled apon this:

" Your character is completely customizable right down to their voice. What’s especially cool there is that the specifications of your character (mostly race and gender) will alter the voice options available."

This isn’t for any peculiar interest to me, because I don’t play playing a female character, but there are some people still looking forward to this.

I don’t think this should die because it’s a long-discussed topic, and deserves to be seen.

It’s an answered and laid to rest topic, there are no females, therefore nothing left to discuss.

Feel free to browse the old (and very lengthy) threads on this very issue.

Correct, there’s only one gender in Brink as previously discussed - sounds like that particular fact giblet was the victim of a miscommunication.
