OK…I started trying to register on May 8 (it’s now Jun 2), with my preferred name “Lt. Torres” but I never got the registration e-mail…so I’ve been trying every possible way to register & couldn’t even post as guest, for example, here (General Discussion) or in any “HELP! I can’t register forum”…you really need at least one forum people can post in for help…cuz I also tried e-mailing webmaster@splashdamage.com, Locki, wils & a few others & never got any reply.
During the period I wasn’t able to register, I’ve seen bots & other spam people register & post…so that’s weird, the (old) captcha (when it was a captcha {BTW…nice [or weird!] new “captcha”…“find the robot”…wtf?..that’s the weirdest “captcha” I’ve seen yet, but I passed!..the 2nd time hehe!}) didn’t keep them out (& didn’t keep me out either)…but the e-mail activation did keep me out (& not them {the spam bots}) & I was giving a valid e-mail…
So anyway…please…

[/li][li]Perhaps have an admin manually activate new accounts after like a day (stops immediate spamming), give them time to post or login & delete them if they spam after being activated
[/li][li]Install the phpBB mod “Resend Activation E-mail” (google)…so people can try again & also have some way for people to change the e-mail they registered with (before activation goes thru you can’t login to access your profile)…
[/li][li]Could you also enable username changing?..or at least allow admin approved username changing? Cuz when you try to register the preferred name gets “used” & can’t be re-used…if the registration attempt fails.[/ol]…these are all the accounts I created while trying to register…[ul]Lt. Torres

The only reason I’ve been trying to register is I have the solution (or workaround) for jump3r^'s GTKRadiant 1.5 Crash…but I noticed the forum that post is in is about “Level Design for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory”…not GTKRadiant…I’ve found a couple forums that are more GTKRadiant-specific…

I don’t even have W:ET I’m just here cuz google had hits for GTKRadiant…I’m mapping for EF1 (& possibly eventually Tremulous)…anyway I’m finally registered, at least under a number, but I still wanna re-register as Lt.
