Gas Grenades

Hi,
Sorry to keep bothering everyone, but does anyone have any idea how how I might make a “gas grenade” that a level 4 covert ops can get which sets the energy charge bar of anyone who is gassed to 0 and maybe stay at 0 for 30 seconds.

So far I think I would use the code from a smoke grenade to make the actual weapon, and have anyone who comes into the area of the grenade (into the gas) flagged as “gassed”. Then anyone who is flagged has 0 energy for 30 seconds.

I have no idea what code to use though? Maybe something from the flame thrower to check if they are in the area, as the flames on a ff are quite “gassy”.

yes, it’s a good idea but instead of cover ops this
weapon could be a weapon in order to replace the blows of the artillery :bash:

Little remark:
There are gas grenades in the RTCW-Mod “Wolf Tactics” which the spy can use.

Actually, this is a decent idea-- have cov ops throw out a smoke canister that “confuses” any airstrikes/arty fire by way of negating any fops actions for the duration of the canister.

There’s code for gas grenades commented out on the server-side code. Haven’t tried it yet, maybe it’ll work…
