Do SD them selves know this is what games on net is saying?
Customers who feel wronged, will hate you SD. Marketing 101…

Wow I guess then NDA is gone…
I dont know if its JBRAA’s ranting today but I am also a little pissed off because of how SD is spinning this… Watching the above video is frustrating because all the objectives suck! The video looks like a giant spamfest with no team work… OH but you tried to show team work JOKE!!
I showed the last video to my friends who were all huge ET players and they all laughed… Some were even founders but asked for a refund…
I just dont know anymore…
This media attention is actually making me NOT want to play the game…
I think this is the footage that the journalists got to record themselves. There was one pathetic attempt at a wall-jump and the material was for the narrator to explain the trick-jumping. If SD provided the footage then there would be some ridiculous parkour-streak under that comment.
There’s a huge difference between that group interview ‘trailer’ and this preview. This one is way more honest. The trailer was more like a machinima (with the airstrikes looking up and such) than actual gameplay.
embrace urself…
At first I was looking at the german coverage… chip.de is NOT a gaming/gamingnews/community whatsoever,
Now I am thinking to myself that they have been invited for a reason… if they would have invited ppl. from 4players/gamestar/pcgames… there would be some “Brink 2” articles around now
some guy at Nexon said the NDA was lifting right away, that’s why the forum is open to anyone, not just closed beta members
Silvanoshi said the NDA still applies to us. And that makes sense otherwise half of Youtube’s new videos would be vlogs by Pixeltwitch by now

How did you like the ETQW launch?
I remember SD pasting 20 or so logos/awards from media companies on their page, while the W:ET community wasnt happy.
Its all about percieved image. Not actual customer satisfaction.

I hated the QW launch… My can and I jumped right into the game and hated it… That was all it took and they never played it again. I played for a few days and also quit… I heard a few weeks later there was a huge patch or update to QW that fixed a lot of problems but I was done… Cant get it right on release then its a waste of my time…
The here I sit 2 years into DB where maps, classes and performance is still broke… What am I thinking… I am just in need of a great FPS game!!!
I can’t think of any non-clone game that’s had a perfectly smooth launch… the only difference with F2P is that hesitation to buy in isn’t a variable so they tend to land on their feet. Long-term support is a win-win as long as the times put in and the game development progresses.
Half life 2 was longer in development. The leak showed a almost finished game and it still took em more then a a year to finish it. I mean I still have a copy of hl1 with hl2 leak engine. Which looks better then hl1 source ( done by freaks for freaks with the leak). Only difference they had to write the engine, oth sd also has to polish the engine - looking at perfomance…
The latter surprises me. I really thought UnrealED would make things a lot smoother both in performance and in development. DB doesn’t look that heavy on the poly count and processing.
What sorcery did they apply to UT3 that it made everything run so smooth even on older pc’s?
Someone might want to tell Nexon that then, they’re saying NDA doesn’t apply on their public forums now.
at least you have to be logged in to see the forums now, but I still think anyone can register and read and post, not just beta players
The first video feels more like “give a good review to this game!” a bit scripted.
i liked his in-game commentary in this video:
