not sluggish as in lagging, sluggish as in the games feel a LOT slower than before, not as much action a lot more running around etc.

Well, that’s probably because your chances to meet experienced players in both team on your server is very low right now. Tons of players are still in their first learning steps.

What @B.Montiel said. Players are only just now starting to learn a lot of the basics required to win on the maps instead of sit there and hold space all game. I’ve actually been on a few competitive pubs recently which was quite refreshing since the open beta started. Give the game a few months and there might be a pretty good scene for it.
