[Gameplay / Input] Shooting and abilities stop working

Issue is definitely still there. Happened to me as I was playing a ranked match.

Same, as recently as 3/18. Happened with Fletcher, not limited to Proxy. Usually happens in intense situations right after switching weapons, maybe always.

Can’t switch weapons and I don’t believe reload works. Have to K to get control back.

Edit: Someone said opening chat helps. Will try next time.

In the dev update video last week @stayfreshshoe mentioned the weapon change system being problematic and due for an overhaul. Hopefully whatever changes are made will fix this issue and others players are experiencing for good.
