Ahhh, can’t wait, looks soooo awesome!!!
Gameplay Demos of Brink to be Shown on IGN, G4TV, GameTrailers TV
wow, I hope we will get more info on all these weapons or some gun fan just took some screenshots and can tell us all about them : D
I watched it and it looked great however I noticed that other players looked a bit dull. I really can’t explain why or how but it is noticeable.
The customizing was awesome.
Only bad thing I have to say is that there was barely any use of SMART, I wanted to see how that would work out in firefights.
is the G4 TV one on actual TV, and not live stream from their website?
Because I don’t have G4TV FTL.
[Rage mode on]
NOOO NOOOOOO NO NO NO, I don’t have the channel, NOOOOOO, NO NO NO NOOOOO

I don’t see any place where it could be streaming
Overall I think it looks great, and given the time that’s left for polish until release I’m sure Brink will be fantastic.
I still have some criticism however: the UI seems a bit bloated and obtrusive, especially with the elements that pops up when you target your allies and the animations still looks a bit glitchy at times. But more pressing is that it’s still much too hard to quickly gaze what class and loadout players are using – instant readability is very important and is one area I really hope the devs will improve upon.
Keep in mind that these are my initial impressions of watching a low quality stream once, so please excuse any blatant mistakes.
Pretty much the same interview on IGN we have been seeing the last few months, probably even shorter…
Only plus side is that they showed some new gameplay footage, although it seems that they are far from completing the artwork on the characters, they looked pretty awefull.
And of course there was the little note at the end: Target release date: Spring 2011…
Not that suprising, seeing the lack of new info this past month.

This is all my viewpoint.
I’m pretty sure you can strafe, and Iron sights are not mandatory, it just seems that the people playing in the videos have some kind of affinity towards using Iron sights.
No strafing= bad thing? Sure it has been in the previous games, but is it really necessary? Strafing was already almost non-existent in QW, giving you only a slight increase in speed.
And you do see a crosshair when not ironsighting, so it can’t be ironsights only.
That and the fact SD already said that ironsights pretty much were only necessary on the longer ranges. Can’t be bothered finding a link to Rahdo’s post about it.
