game won't start at loading screen

so i play the game from steam, it loads the anticheat then tries to go on fullscreen and it crashes with windows message “dirtybomb.exe has stopped working” or whatever. i tried messing around with the cfg, reinstalling it a few times, deleting all cfg files and restoring them through steam … i can actually play ut4 without any problem (the engine should be the same i guess). here’s my spec

win8 64bit
intel i7-4702mq @2.2 ghz
8 gb ram
geforce 760-m

it actually runs ut4 beta, reflex beta, csgo , shootmania without problems

ps: how can i change my forum nick?

ok…i sorta figured it by trying to add “-WINDOWED” at launch properties from steam (it should be a default unreal engine launch option) and now i can play in window mode… still can’t figure out how to play on fullscreen

You should at least be able to play in Windowed Borderless mode if you go into the video settings then.

You could also try the shortcut ALT-ENTER to have the game go from windowed to fullscreen after it launches to see if it is still an issue after the game finishes loading to the menu.

actually i’m able to play in windowed borderless, but still crashes whenever i try to go on fullscreen

To change your forum nickname, download the Nexon Launcher (BETA) and go to your profile settings and it will give you the option to change the name. Give it a few minutes of refreshing and your name will change on the forums.
