Game won't load under Windows 8.1

Ever since updating to the new 8.1 patch/pack, the game won’t load.

I’ve tried loading it direct from the Extraction shortcut and manually clicking “Play” from the Nexon Launcher.

The launcher itself loads fine, but it minimises like it’s trying to load the game, but never actually does. Then bringing the launcher back up from the taskbar, the Extraction profile image in the launcher says “Play” like it clearly wasn’t loaded or loading.

So as it stands, it will not boot the game up for me in 8.1 while it did fine before under 8.0.

I try to click on the link the dude provides but their site still says i’m not authenticated. I used the beta key, it says it’s active, I can download the game. Yet I’m still not authenticated for their forum. hmm

Anyway, they updated the launcher today and it still doesn’t work. When I launch the game, I don’t get a crash report now. It just closes the game after about 5 seconds of doing nothing. Looks like they fixed the error by it not even showing up now lol.

Yeah see I never got an error message. I updated to 8.1 within the first day it came out and I didn’t get around to doing variant load attempts for the beta or post the problem until yesterday (busy… life).

My guess is on my system it slips in and out of the OS task manager too quickly for me to even spot that it ever made an attempt to actually load. Maybe it’s because my system is such a beast :tongue:
