Game wont launch after update (+ Win10!)

I’ve seen and heard of many with this bug after update. The game runs in App manager for a few seconds, then closes. With admin rights the game won’t run either. I know this is from Technical Support, but no one answers over there. Any ideas?

Seems like Win 10 is the common feat in everyone with the issue. Any ideas to fix this?

No Anti-Cheat logo BTW.

have you tried repairing the game via steam?

yep, already done. “Found” 2 missing files (the same found my friend with the same issue). After “repairing”, no luck.

@Ulrath You should probably have put this in technical issues.

Try reinstalling, NGS is trying to launch but it simply can’t, because of that Dirty Bomb won’t launch.

I had this problem before the update and now after. Basically, it appears as though the certificate is corrupt and not validating which causes the game to not launch. Check out your event viewer, this is what mine looks like:

There is more detailed info, but note the NGClient.aes file. That is the source of your problem. Basically, the only way I have found to fix it is to delete and redownload the game so you can get a day or two of playing before deleting and redownloading again…I feel like one of Skinner’s rats bar pressing all the time to play. I guess its good they have not electrified my keyboard…yet.

UPDATE: Today it launches just fine. Dunno what of everything I tried made it work.
