I have an ATI Radeon 5770 and the game isn’t working properly. Inlike the majority of the people that have posted here, I can’t even get to the game’s menu. When I start the game on steam it asks if I will allow it to access my hard drive or whatever and I say yes as I normally would, and then I see a white box in the top left of my screen flash and then my screen goes black and I can hear the intro video but there is no visuals and my monitor says “NO SIGNAL”. So I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del out of it.
I know that my computer is more than capable of running this game and I updated my drivers to Catalyst 11.5 and got the 11.5 hot fix. My computer has 8 gigs of ram, 3.4 ghz processing power, I run on Windows 7 64 bit, and as I said before I have an HIS Radeon HD5770 Graphics card.
Also, the patch that was released on steam today didn’t change anything for me. The same thing happened as yesterday. While I am very upset at the problems with this game on launch, I still retain hope that the game is just as fun as I’ve been hoping for the past year and I trust that Splash Damage is trying their best to fix the problems.
