Game will not start from steam.

I open Dirty Bomb through Steam (like most if not all of us). However, today the app wouldn’t start. It would set my account to ‘In-game’ Playing Dirty Bomb and then 2minutes later it would set me back to just ‘Online’. I validated my files and no even that worked. This actually the second time this has happened to me and the only solution to the problem was by doing a System Recovery. I’m only posting this here just in case some one had a faster and/or better solution, as opposed to System Recovery.

Hello there.

I’ve had the exact same issue today.
Reboot your computer in safe mode with networking.
That fixed it for me.

You could also try disabling your antivirus for a few minutes than load the game. I know I had to do that with avg until someone on the forums here found a solution.

Booting your computer in safe mode isn’t meant to be used to play games and doesn’t fix issues in normal boot.
