Due to a whole server downtime during the maintanace (5h), it seems it’s a bigger update?

Did they say anything what’s coming?

I just looked and it’s 7am to 12pm? 5 hours? I don’t think I’ve seen a patch take that long since I started playing when it came out on Steam. Maybe I’m forgetful though…

Hope a new merc, and a new map, and maybe if we are lucky they will lower the minimum texture detail so we get a decent fps back

They stated at dev stream on some point, that next merc release (without saying if it’s Turtle or Aimee) is pushed till somewhere around March afaik.

There is no new content, nor a new merc. This update is all about balance and fine-tuning, as well as possibly some bug fixes and that general kind of stuff. :slight_smile:

Where was this “No new content” confirmed?
I believe they only said no new merc/map, but there could be something smaller, right? :slight_smile:

Update is out on steam, you can download it right now (don’t see it? restarting steam client should do it).
The update is 1.1GB and the new version (according to SteamDB) is 1.76MB smaller.

EDIT: This is because they stated, “no new merc” and of course, we just had 2 brand new maps! Not sure if any changes are coming to either of those, but regardless… that’s not exactly ‘new content’, because it was last update. Just wanted to clear that up >.>

Ah ok, I rarely watch the streams, instead I read your recap. :slight_smile:
Of course the devs could have been holding out on us, and decides to throw in a huge suprise. But I doubt it! The only time they ever did that was with the Kira release, and they left obvious hints for it in the Rhino role-call video.
