Hey there! Not sure what the previous user is really talking about, but there is a much easier fix than what he/she said to do.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Steam library page, and find Dirty Bomb.
  2. Right click on Dirty Bomb and click the “Properties” option (bottom of the drop-down).
  3. A window should pop up. Click the “Local Files” tab on the top bar.
  4. Now, click the “Verify integrity of game cache…”. (This basically checks all your files are up-to-date.
  5. Try launching Dirty Bomb. If it works - you don’t need to do anything else. If it still doesn’t work, do the following:
  6. In the same window, click “Backup game files”.
  7. Once you have chosen a file location to back up your files, click “Delete local game content” (again, in the same window).
  8. This will uninstall the game from your PC. Now, can drag you backed up files into the old Dirty Bomb folder.
  9. Click “install Dirty Bomb” on steam and it will check all the files are valid and working as intended. It will repair anything that is missing.

Hopefully this will fix the issue for you! You do NOT need to reinstall steam, and shouldn’t have to completely reinstall Dirty Bomb. Let me know if you need anymore help by writing “@Faraleth” in a reply. c:

Faraleth has the fix. I had this problem today because I had to reinstall windows 10, works great now.

I have the same problem too (since this new update) and honestly i thing you guys shouldn’t try anything, it is nexon responsability to fix this kind of stuff, and lets be honest, the game is pretty good and we have fun playing it, but, nexon support sucks as*, really the “sign in” error has existed since the beta was launched, and they still didnt fixed it…
Cmon nexon, you need to step up…
