Game over

I remember downloading Dirty Bomb and playing for the past week and a half. i got pretty far in the game and finally understood it all durring my last few days of playing, i enjoyed every day of it and realized how well balanced the game is , how effective the teamwork is , and how enjoyable the game was as well. it was only until 10 minutes ago before i decided to make this post, i already thought about quiting. and most of you think why? how could i make such a positive post and decide to quit, especially so early on while the game is still in beta? Well i played my first game that i ran into a Blatant cheater. i shoulda known better when i saw this game on Nexon and realized nothing had changed at all, i had never ran into anyone into the game cheating for all 65 hrs of gameplay. I am level 11 and played about 10 competitive matches. never lost a single one. until i ran into that cheater. never missed a single shot , always knew where my team was and he would quickly snap player to player after killing one off. it was nearly impossible to do what he did. it was obvious and after going on youtube i saw for myself that the game does infact have cheats. I’ve played many shooters and i typicaly quit them now because they are: A: too typical (gameplay wise) or B. Infested with Cheaters.

Dirty Bomb deserved option B for the game is pretty cool in originality even if it does borrow some ideas from TF2.
But why make a game with a competitive mode when the first thing u guys should be working on is a better anti cheat material.

Umm. So coming across just one cheater during 65 hours of gameplay means the game is infested with cheaters? Okay. Bye.

There is aimbots in every FPS and there always will be. Getting upset over it does nobody any favors. Report them and they will be banned.

Also, this game is based on Return to Castle Wolfenstein MP and Enemy Territory (same company made ET that has made DB) with some influences from other games and genres. You should look them up, they are great games.

Seems legit.

Tbh, I totally understand OP.
I was really hoping to see a better anti cheat/reporting/votekick system, before the game entered open beta.
It was obvious that xingcode wasn’t stopping cheaters, before, and it’s obvious that it still isn’t.
There isn’t much you can do right now, except for leaving the match, and reporting outside of the game, I guess.
Some players don’t take that well, since they could be playing shooters with better anti cheat solutions.

Game runs on an older engine, Unreal. You could expect cheaters from the start, the engine has been around for ages.

Just suck it up, wait for the upcoming better report system, and play dirty
