I got an idea for a new game mode that could fit perfectly to Dirty Bomband his teambased gameplay. I called it Extraction (
first Dirty Bomb name)
How it works :
This game mode is played per round (like Execution).
Each round, the CDA begin at point A, pick up a briefcase containing confidential files, and must deliver it to point B within the time limit. The Jackal start at point C, must steal the briefcase and deliver it to point D (or it could be point B too). The team that deliver the briefcase within the time limit win the round.
Here is the unique system:
I was bored of Execution mode as it too often resume to “Kill the other team” and not “Plant the f*** C4 !”. So it could be more interesting to be awarded when completing the said objective.
So, if one team deliver briefcase while at least one member of the opposing team is still alive, the first team got 2 points. If not, they got one point. If the briefcase is not delivered within the time limit, no point is gained.
This means that the round does not end when all member of one team are eliminated. The round ends only if the briefcase is delivered by either a team, or when the time runs out.
Commit suicide (K by default) is not enabled in this mode (re-read point calculation to understand why ^_^)
After X number of round, teams are swiped (like in Execution).
The point system could be set up in the actual Execution mode. Plainting bomb (and explode) or Defuse = 2 points, kill other team = 1 point (not if bomb is planted), Time runs out = 0 point.
