Game launching Problem

I was trying to start the game and got a message saying dirty bomb is not supported on windows

You must be running windows 2000 or earlier… you’ll need Windows7 or later… or are you running it on a Mac?

I was running the current windows and randomly received the message (I have an HP Pavilion)

Im juat having issues loading. I get to the javalin splash screen then it goes away and nothing…sometimes i have to releaunch 2 or 3 times or restart pc. Cant tell if its a game issue or if its because i updated to creators updat against my better jidgement.
