Game keeps CRASHing/freezing. please assist

I purchased Brink from Game Stop this morning and every time I try to play, it either freezes or crashes.

The message I am receiving is:
X Content
-A corruption was detected and Brink is unable to continue loading. Please restart Brink and download the game add-on pack again.

My xbox has never had this problem before, and it happened the first time I put in the game.
I could not find a way to uninstall/reinstall the patch that was required when I first put in the game, so as another resort, I deleted my DLC that I got for pre-ordering it.
Apparently, that was a mistake because the problem not only persists, but I can’t re-download my content!

Unlike many other consumers, I am REALLY enjoying this game (even though I can only play for 10 minutes until it happens).
Last time it happened, I was about to complete the 3-star tower defense challenge. bummer.

Please help, I don’t know if it’s a bad disc, but I would like to enjoy this game to it’s potential.

Atleast you get an error message.:rolleyes:

A lot of us have the game crashing without any notification why…

sometimes I get it, sometimes I don’t. It’ll just freeze up until I kill the power. has splash or bethesda mentioned anything about this?
possibly resolving it? or identified whether it’s a bad disc or not?

I get the same thing. Most of the time it freezes. Some of the time when I restart my xbox and put it in I get that same message. This sucks, all my friends got it and we can’t even play.
