I was inclined to get into it
Game industry observation...
lol critics more critical.
So that is why overwatch does have over 90 (users rating 6,8) and all CODs around 85 i see…
But otherwise good vid.
This is why I lost all hope in big budget titles.
Why so scummy? Why so little to no genre variety? Why so much obsession over online game modes? Why shoehorning in progression system in every action game? etc.
Good Indie games, some middle budget games and retro, is where I’m standing these days.
@TheStrangerous Why would triple A companies do anything innovative i’f they don’t have any good opposition to begin with?
Right now,Steam greenlight is filled with shady developping companies with questionable games, there’s no reason for big names to make quality, since there’s nothing else other than them at the top.
Pepole’s standards in games are getting lower and lower as time passes,i remembered when DLCs first came out, pepole were offended, nowadays, most pepole now take it as granted.

Yeah, sadly these companies feel too comfortable with the “Lowest Common Denominator” approach. Greenlight and Kickstarter sure are full of shovelware, but there’s some gold to be found nonetheless.
Big Corpo dont like to experiment, they love to separate you from your wallet tho.
they dont care about the finished products when it got released.
sure, 1 or 5 or 10 developer might do good and try not to fuck with the players
(what big companies dont get is this is a trust investment)
(ubisoft is already trying to do this since they are really hated)
but the rest will go to cash grab highway if able.
Why is the games industry so bad? Easy. They cost so much to make that nobody wants to risk anything on new ideas. Thats why small companies or indie titles thrive so much.
With right amount of budgeting and measuring right amount of costs, they’d pull dozens of budget games. But no, every games needs to be big budget colossus, trying to compete with other milked franchises.
