ok, so i have been having an issue where the game freezes and crashes. no controls work in the game either, when this happens. i use ctrl+alt+delete but even then i can’t close or exit the game, my screen is white. i have to restart my computer to fix it. this also happens randomly and often in the middle of a match (unfortunately). additionally i have horrendous loading times (up to 10 minutes, and then i find out the game was frozen/crashing and i have to restart computer). i don’t know if this is just my computer? or if its a server issue? but this has been happening for the past week or so… (i think it might have started after the containment war update). it also seems to be more prevalent in stopwatch mode as well. my graphics settings are low and my laptop is just over a year old so there shouldn’t be an issue with compatibility. can anyone help? or does anyone know whats going on?
game freezing and crashing
I had this happen to me for the first time ever today. I was able to Ctrl+Alt+Delete and bring up the Task Manager but the window didn’t show up unless I hovered my mouse over the icon (my taskbar was visible, rest of the screen was white). Eventually I managed to close the game by hovering over the Task Manager icon and using the keyboard to navigate and end the process (using the Del button).
yep, that’s pretty much my problem. i put it in a smaller window (instead of full screen) so i can close it easier if its dead. eh, its sort of helped. at least now i can monitor what is going on in my computer while i use it. my cpu usage can spike to 82% (total) but when the game is crashing it has less then 2% usage. that seems to be the pattern; it gets high (but never 100%) then tanks so quickly it crashes.
