You can dl it from Map-Craft.com, just need to register quick.

Radiant 1.4.0 33.19mb(incl default source maps)

You can also find the latest q3map2 in the dl section.

Happy mapping.

damn it’s still freezing, could it be that i need a newer version of ET? :?

(Constra) #24

No Et version doesnt matter in this .

(Daemonicus) #25

i now have radiant 1.4.0, the map is tested by someone else and it’s worked still not working with me :frowning:
weird :banghead:

(Constra) #26

Hmm maby really try reinstalling et ?
/sw_pure 0
/g_gametype 2
/devmap (yourmapname)
To console  when reinstalled.

(kamikazee) #27

Yes, it does. I have experienced far less crashes in W:ET 2.60 (and it’s newer patches) than any older version, possibly due to the fixed limbo map.

(Constra) #28

I play 2.55
No problems .

(Daemonicus) #29

i just reinstalled ET but it’s still not working :frowning:

(Constra) #30

Umm reinstall radiant ?

(Daemonicus) #31

i just installed 1.4.0 this morning

(Constra) #32

Phef.
I am out of ideas sorry .

(Daemonicus) #33

i’ll see if it works on another computer, because it worked with S14Y3R so maybe there’s just somethin wrong with my computer.

(Constra) #34

Maby …

I used to get that error a long time ago(approx 3yrs) but I can’t remember what fixed it. I’ll see if I can recreate it…

Another thought, you say you’re Radiant is already set up for wolf:et in preferences, another thing to check might be in Radiant under File/Project settings …then “select mod” should be on Wolf:ET and not Custom Mod, also make sure your base path is set correctly to: C:/Program Files/Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory/etmain/ …you may be setting to regular RTCW by accident when you’re installing…or do you even have RTCW installed? hmm, yea I’ll see if I can recreate it on another machine…

Have you tried compiling with a batch file? Its a little more advanced but way faster than a Radiant compile(especially when your maps get bigger), a quick search will yeild many results on how to go about it.

Also, try EB’s(or any) tutorial map/bsp to see if they load at all. If any small map doesn’t load then at least we know its not a compile error.

actually about the basepath, you should make a clean ET install so you are not using any custom textures etc.
iv had so many ppl who give me a map to test and i say textures missing, he says “wtf”
