Game Freezes PC on Launch

The game ran fine, until I got a new processor. I installed my AMD FX 8350 with ease, and ran every game with stunning frame rates!.. Until I tried Dirty Bomb. I was talking to my friends in Teamspeak when all of the sudden. Silence. My Mouse Cursor wouldn’t even budge. I smacked that Restart button and booted back to my desktop.

Enough Story Time, here is what I did to try and fix it so far

Verified Game Cache (Steam)
Deleted Game, Reinstalled (Steam)
Launch In Windowed Mode (ConsoleVariables File)

Still no dice ;-; halp.

Have you tried running steam as an administrator?

(sportiveMystic) #3

Just tried, No Dice.

(Ardez1) #4

Latest chipset and video card drivers?

(sportiveMystic) #5

Geforce - Version 353.30
Not sure what my chipset is, my Mobo is an ASUS M5A97 R2.0, AM3+ Socket

Uninstall. Delete UnrealEngine3 folder in My Document>My Games. Reinstall.

Just Tried that. Still Crashed my PC.

Ugh… This is a shitty issue…

Can you crack open Event view and see what the error that caused the crash was?

This might help.

So might this.

Im not entirely sure what I should be looking for, I am open to letting you use TeamViewer if you want.

Sure, I just need to go and reinstall it. Reformatted my pc recently. Add me on steam. Link in my signature.

Should be good to go. Debugging was enabled in your boot config. Disabled it and DB is working fine now.
