Game Freezes every few minutes for 5-6 seconds.

Hi Sir, Madam,

Ever since the last update the finetuning update, i get this 5 seconds freeze every few minutes.
Lets say im walking forward and i am shooting. What happens is that the screen freezes, but i hear continouis shooting, and when i return after the freeze, im across the map. It kinda fixates the last keycombination. My teamspeak goes on normally. It happens only when i am in game. Not in the lobby or in main menu. It also happens in the game intro… when they are explaining the gameobjectives.

I reinstalled my videocard, upgraded the drivers, reinstalled the game (deleted local files at steam and redownloaded the game).

Here are my PC statistics:

Same happens to me since the last update, before the 8/26/2015 one, now after alt tabbing and using task manager I can’t even get the game to close. It’s just stuck on a black screen, says it’s “not responding” on the task manager but I still cannot find a way to close it completely. Never had this issue with any other game ever.

I have the same problem AFTER “fine tuning update”. Never have this problem before. It happens 2-3 times on every single match, but often i have exactly 20 sec. freeze = 100% dead. I have 2 computers in my house with different spec. and have this freezes on both. Please solve this problem ASAP, because game is unplayable now :frowning:

(sorry for my “english”)

I’ve been getting this too, also since the last fine tuning update.

Not mention on top of this issue of freezing, I’ve also been experiencing the Anti-Cheat issue of getting booted to desktop for “Game Security Code Violation” or something like that. It is very unplayable especially getting kicked mid match due to a bug, I will just wait until the next update and hopefully these issues are fixed.

i only created this account to tell you guys you are not alone…

I searched on steam forums but didnt found anything about this…i asked some streams but noone had this issue like me…

Some very random freezes that last 3-5sec and the game returns like nothing happened.

Maybe we can help find the problem?

Looking at the OP’s specs I don’t see much similar to my own:
Win 7 SP1, i7 920 2.6ghz, 16gb RAM, Radeon 5850 1GB, 3840x1200 combined desktop res (game running at 1920x1200) 2tb Seagate HDD.

Yesterday i dont have freezes for all day but… I have terrible FPS drops every 20-40 seconds for example when i shooting or just running. At the same time when i have this drops, sound is disorted and sluggish.

Same here…

Unfortunaly I gotta have to add myself to the list.

Windows 10
AMD Phenom x4 9850 @ 2.5GHz
8 GB Ram
AMD Radeon HD 6850
HDD
Realtek HD audio onboard

I mainly get the sound distortion + a short lag/fps drop type delay that lasts less than a second doesn’t show up in the FPS counters.
The sound distortion seems to happen mostly when several sounds play at the same time. most consistent (but not always) while explosions + gunfire/screams especially Skyhammer airstrikes.
Because of that I suspect that it might be because of the changes to the audio, that the patch brought. Played with several audio options in the ini (increasing decreasing channels adding memory pools…) but no improvement. Alternative explanation it could be some form of logging operations for the Anti cheat that puts additional stress on our computers.

Would be interesting to see if it affects others using onboard realtek or if someone with an external soundcard has the problem aswell.
