Game freezes and crashes occasionally on high end PC since CW update

Since the CW update my game randomly completely freezes and crashes. I have not yet recovered from a freeze. It´s not happening very often. Once every 5h maybe. Pre CW update this did not happen at all.
My rig:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3,5 GHz
Memory: 16GB
Video Card: GeForce GTX 970
OS: Windows 10
Latest drivers installed

My configs are untouched. Only changed settings in game. I have around 200-300 fps depending on the map. No noticeable fps drops.

I have not seen any patterns so far. Different maps (more common on underground, but that can just be due to a statistical small sample size). Freezing during random times of a game, no patterns noticed.

It´s getting on my nerves when you have 20k+ XP and have just a few min to go in a Stopwatch game and the game freezes. Instead of clearing all 3 quests you have to do it all over again…

Any suggestions what can be causing this and how to fix it?

This issue is gone for me now. I can´t pinpoint what fixed it. Maybe new drivers, new configs or better optimization from SD. Maybe a combination of all of them.

Having same issue only just started happening in last few days :frowning: Can’t find a solution.
