Game does not launch

Just loaded it today and it flashed “Preparing to load” disabled antivirus and every thing I could find. The ONLY game I had this exact issue was LEGO Worlds. After them patching for a month it started working.

This is in Steam.

I have also done delete local game content, verify integrity of game cache and run as admin.

The game patched today and still same issue.

I have the same problem
I haven’t played it since late November and it worked just fine, no issues whatsoever then, but now it won’t even launch from steam. It says for a split second that I’m playing Dirty Bomb, but nothing pops up, just goes back as if I never even launched it in the first place.

Hey man, I got it working again, see if this helps for you:

  1. Reboot your computer in safe-mode with networking and try to launch Dirty Bomb.
  2. When that is done, even if it didn’t launch (didn’t for me), restart your computer again but this time the usual way.
  3. Try to launch Dirty Bomb again and see if it works now.
