Game CTD after every match

So i’m a new player on DB (currently level 5) and since the very first time i play i always, ALWAYS crashes to desktop every time a match has ended whether it’s an objective game or execution game… The screen blackens for a while then DB forced to close, no error message or anything it just crashes… Is there anyway i could fix this? thanks

I have the same problem, but it’s not every match. It mostly happens when I Alt+Tab out and back in again.

For those that don’t know what the issue is; it’s when the screen goes completely black except a Windows XP style box in the top left saying Dirty Bomb. You cannot click on anything or Alt+Tab to change windows.

The only thing you can do (on Windows 10) is press Win+X then C (to open command prompt), then type “TASKKILL -F -IM ShooterGame-Win32-Shipping.exe” to force close DB. Then you can open it up again an play :smile:

@DarkMatterMatt You could try playing the game in borderless window mode (found in the video settings). That way the game should run fine when alt+tabbing in and out.

But… but… I don’t want to :disappointed: :grin: I don’t find it too much of a hassle, it doesn’t happen every game for me. Also, yay for good computers; DB starts up in about 10 secs for me :smile:
