Game constantly locking up

I don’t know what has changed but ever since the last update Dirty Bomb is constantly freezing/locking up, either momentarily or even freezing so long until the point that i either have to a) alt ctrl delete to get out of the game or b) literally turn the computer off at the tower. I don’t have this issue on any other game.

I run a GTX 760 and I run everything on low and usually get an average of just above 100-120 fps through all parts of the game. Have had fps drops previously but nothing to the point where I can’t play the game.

What gives?
