Unfortunately I wasn’t able to record or screenshot this bug, so I will try to explain what happened the best I can.
(I was playing as Bushwhacker the whole time)
I came across this bug while playing a competitive match on the map Bridge. It happened in the second half of the game, just after the warm-up, I was on the attacking team. The game was lagging badly during the warm-up (only for me it seemed). I was killed at spawn the instant the warm-up session ended. I tried to complain about the lag in the chat but nothing I typed was shown. The match began, and I still couldn’t send any messages, I spawned as Bushwhacker. I went to the objective and tried to repair the RV, but when I held down F it showed the repair animations, but didn’t actually repair the RV. The same thing occurred when I tried to arm C4. I was able to walk up to the enemy players and they didn’t seem to notice me. I tried to shoot them and use my melee, but I was unable to damage any enemy players. I was also unable to be damaged by the enemy players/explosions/turrets, I couldn’t take any damage. I was also unable to interact with the objectives, and unable to pick up ammo packs. Both the enemy team and my own team did not seem to notice or see me. I was still able to destroy enemy buildings (mines, healing stations, ammo stations, turrets) and place turrets down myself. When I placed a turret, it was able to target and damage enemy players, and they were able to destroy my turrets. They started to complain in the chat about “Turret Hacking”, and that turrets were spawning out of nowhere, so I assume that they were unable to see me. I was also able to Help up fallen teammates
This is the first time I have ever come across this bug, and I don’t think anyone else has reported it yet. I was unable to recreate this bug, and don’t really have any idea of how it happened. The next match I played after this game ended was normal. The only thing odd I noticed was the sudden lag before the match started. Sorry for the lack of information, I hope this helps a bit.
