This bug happens to me all of the time, like 30% of my sticks disappear.
My only suspicion so far is that the stickies automatically disappear if I stick somebody in the feet. I know that there is also a bug that causes players to become rooted to the ground when their feet have a sticky on them. This might be related to some kind of preventative measure added in by the devs to prevent that.
I’d love to do some testing to get to the bottom of this, as this bug robs me of more kills than I could count. It’s just difficult to test without private servers.

I’ve seen them vanish when stuck to someones head / torso as well and I know for a fact that they were stuck on their head / torso as I’ve done it to camping snipers I’ve snuck behind. I’d back up a few steps and set them off and witness them just disappearing from a few feet away, so yeah, they seem to be broken no matter where you stick them.

Okay, so since Fuze’s bug report, and a lot of other people complaining about that issue, it’s of course a thing. Let’s hope the next update will fix that.

I think this happens to a lot of explosives, it also happened just a few times with my Nader’s nades and Fragger’s frags.

Did anyone had that issue ?
Using Fletcher, since the most recent update, sometimes when I throw a sticky bomb at someone, if I get the “stuck” notification and make it go boom just after, the sticky just… Disappear, without even exploding. Which is extremely infuriating. I could have made blew up those Rhinos a lot of time if my sticky didn’t decided to turn into a tennis ball. For the guys who gets mad about their loadout card RNG, you know what’s worst than that ? Being RNG’d by your sticky bombs. 
As far as I noticed, it especially happens when I try to stick two stickies on someone, so obviously oftenly on Rhinos. Unfortunately I have no video footage of it. I’ll try to capture it clearly if I have the time or if I manage to get that glitch again. I managed to get that glitch at least seven times in three different games. It’s annoying, it’s somewhat game breaking, and I do hope I am not the only one.

Got to test in a match with 3 players for a bit.
Stickies disappear 100% of the time if you stick their feet. I can’t reproduce it anywhere else on their body though.
