[Game Bug] - Slow motion is back. back again.

Howdy,
I had it randomly after a few updates but now its back at least once a day. the only fix I have found is to reboot my machine.

Problem:
The game and menu is in slow motion. Differing slowness on different days. Its not a ping issue, its not a ‘hold sprint u scrub’ issue… My movements in game are in slow motion. Other players on my screen seem unaffected. Gravity is affected, movement speed, reloading speed, ability speed is all affected. Shooting weapons is delayed, but ROF is unaffected. I have seen a couple others experience it, and @clown said he had it today in the stream game.

It had occasionally caught me before, but since last update it happens every day at least once. This video is from the first time it happened, I will try and record again if i notice it worse than this.

One month on and this is still happening with no idea of the cause. Happened pretty bad today so I grabbed a couple more vids. I’ll upload them later tonight. Can we get a dev comment on it, is there any way I can do some testing or give you information to narrow down the cause at all?

slow motion? i think ive run into that before once.

yeah, no, mine is much worse. lag spikes every second where everything jumps forward a bit, too. probably a connection issue, tho, the “connection lost, reconnecting” message which probably isnt what i type appears for an instant every second when the lag spikes start. i do have a video, but the connection here’s pretty bad, i might upload it later if i remember.

yeah, not an internet issue, not a ‘press sprint you noob’ issue, possibly a computer issue, only affects this one game (out of the two games I play) so likely a game issue, especially since at least one other person has had it.

here we are, DB in super-slow-mo. keep in mind this was way before the CW update, and the date on it says 10th october. i wouldve seen if i could do the objectives in said super slow-mo but the game said it would kick me for idling, so i decided to just quit the server.

I had it pretty bad a few days ago, but not as bad as you @TheRyderShotgun .

However, I think I have found the solution to mine. I havent had it for a few days and im hoping it is gone for good.

I have a 5 yr old PC and run the ASUS P8P67 pro motherboard. I noticed that sometimes in the morning the PC hadnt finished booting by the time I had made my coffee and returned so I watched it one day. There was a ‘jmicron’ (I think) controller that was shitting itself and making my machine give a beep and then reboot before the Bios Post had finished. I jumped into the bios and disabled it and now the issue hasnt come back. Hopefully its something similar for you and @Clown who has had this issue too.

Feel free to PM or tag me if you want me to lookup the exact item I disabled to see if your Mobo is causing the issue as well.

I just experienced this goddamn bug. Really nasty to get this in a competive match because even as Aura I was running slower than Fragger.
As mentioned here restarting my PC helped. Hope this wont be a reoccurring thing.
