I’ve experienced a bug where Phantom’s cloak completely stops working for the rest of the game. I don’t know what causes it as I’ve only had it a few times, but there doesn’t seem to be any ingame fix to it.
Has anyone else experienced this?
OK, it has happened again. It so far has only happened on bridge attack and it will last until either the barricades are down or the EV is first repaired. It might have something to do with the heartbeat sensors.
This happened to me today when I died in the first part of bridge on a heartbeat sensor as Skyhammer then changed to Phantom. Game ended before EV was repaired so no confirmation on that. Hope this helps, but I haven’t tried to reproduce the bug yet.
it happened to me on chapel stopwatch, attacker side. enemy had 1 vassili. no matter where i went the cloak would not activate. you could hear the audio that would go off when you activate the cloak “woo-hoo-wooo-oooo” but it would not activate. neither cloak or shield went up. tried switching characters, didnt work. left the server and the bug was not present anymore in the rest of the games i had
I’ve had the same issue with cloak not activating on bridge attack in two separate games. Also appeared to be related to dying on/near a heartbeat sensor.
OK, heartbeat sensor is not what causes the issue. I just had it again on bridge attack, enemy team had no Vassili. It was usable again after the EV was repaired the first time.
Happened once to me, but the next respawn fixed the issue. Do not recall any specifics, just saying “not just you”.
Some of my buddies were saying that if u are repairing an ev or secondary Obj and get killed that will trigger the bug
Once the Obj is repaired it removes the bug till u die doing the same thing
Arming a c4 won’t trigger the bug but disarming will sometimes
I have found that on occasion I was unable to cloak in a game. Then I noticed that the objective, like repair the EV, once completed would fix the problem. I have tested this and if you work on an objective and die. You will not be able to cloak until it is finished. Fix please.
This is part of the game. The reason the cloak failed to activate is that there was a heartbeat sensor dropped by a Vasilly somewhere around, in range. When they put the sensors down, you can’t cloak in their range. That’s why the cloak wouldn’t activate.
I have played Phantom for some days now and have not encountered any problems until last night. Got the same issue you are describing. It was not the heartbeat sensor that made it not working. I could not cloak even when i respawned and was staying in spawn.
The problem stayed for that hole game. I tried changeing mercs but could not get anything to fix it. Fourtunly the problem only stayed for 1 game, new map and everything was back to normal and I did not encounter any more of the issue.

Exactly what steelLocker said. I know the rule about the sensor but it happened everywhere.

The first time i was able to use it again after my death. But the second time it followed me a second death to work again.
I think it’s DB dev trolling us 
@peridotLava I’ve had the same bug and funnily enough on the same map. Changing merc didn’t help. I swapped to a different server after the game and it was working again.

Did happen again today and strange enough, it was again on the same map i don’t know if it’s always the same.
Would be nice to hear than dev does know about this issue…because it’s gamebreaking actualy.
I can confirm I experienced this on the same map, halfway through the game. Persisted until the end, even through loadout change.
Hi, i just bought phantom today to get myself too a piece from the cake 
Well, i had a bug that happened some time. I don’t really know how but… My cloak hability didn’t want to activate itself. I pressed the button, the guy push on his arm but nothing happen. I did a video so i can show you.
I will upload it soon to ilustrate.
Well, like i said it would be nice if an admin could report this issue to the dev team.
