[GAME BUG]"Kicked due to game security violation."

So this is something that has been happening for more and more lately. I get kicked out of nowhere (sometimes early in the match, sometimes later.) with the message “Kicked due to game security violation”.

Talking to other people I play with it seems that this is happening alot. I’ve noticed this bug has been in the game for long, so I am wondering if the devs are doing anything in order to get rid of this? It’s quite annoying to be playing a comp-match and then getting kicked (making my team suffer alot as I am a healer for our 5man-team) without any reason at all (I’m not cheating or using any background-programs while playing…)

Are the devs doing anything about this? Would be great to get a feedback on this issue as it is the most annoying one so far…

Was just about to mention this, but if you “verify the integrity of game cache” in the steam properties for dirty bomb, there seems to be two files which need to be reacquired pretty much every other time you start the game or something. Dunno why or which ones but yeah, this seems to be a temporary fix or something. Hope this helps.

I’m on windows 10, if that’s relevant

So verify isn’t fixing, keep getting kicked due to to security violation, and then when i check the cache there are two files that need to be reacquired. not sure if this is a coincidence. disabled anti virus, same issue of two files needing to be reacquired. also tried deleting shooterengine.ini in cfg as I had a modified one, didn’t help either.

I’ve had the same problem and it seems to be occurring more frequently, but this is really getting annoying especially since I play legit with literally Dirty Bomb being the only thing running on my computer. The Devs really need to put more effort into their anti-cheat system now or pull it until they fine-tune it better, so they’re not kicking innocent players from matches they work so hard in. It makes progressing really hard if you’re getting kicked from every other match and earning basically nothing.

This forum topic is everywhere… Basically stop running any 3rd party programs and try playing the game with a “blank desktop” (i.e no Razer programs or such, no programs that overlay games such as mumble, steam is fine though)

Anti-Viruses might trigger the anti-cheat given its new

I used to have this problem as soon as the anti-cheat was released, the problem I had it on was Raptr / AMD Gaming Evolved so i just played without it until someday when it was fixed

This is a known issue that will hopefully diappear soon.
It can be very annoying, but If it happens, you won’t get banned unless you are really cheating.

Kicked again just now for no reason what so ever. Not spending another cent on this nonsense.

Same here, spent 15 minutes on a long game, had enought xp to finish my quests but… kicked for no reason. IF u could, at least, save the xp without finishing the game. That should help not getting ppl mad because of this bug.

i know, this is only for quests purpose, competitive gaming is garbage untill this is fixed

i just got the same thing GAME SECURITY VIOLATION ISSUE kicked this really sucks cause half the time i play is a wast of time i paid for the booster so if i buy 6 hour booster i only get 3 hours of it i see allot of this same issue going back months from now im new here a lil over a week now so why is this not fixed? An yes also i have nothingggg not even teamspeak running just plain old windows 10 an my nvidia grapics oh an my epson printer that is it nothing else is in the back round processes i dont even have pirated games lol i gave all that up when i moved to windows 10 knowing them sneaks are spying on us but back to topic please fix this i really like this game an would love to support it by spending some real money also my friend who i played with for yearssss got ban on day 2 an it says permanent he dont cheat im sure of it i know him in real life the game might have detected maybe keygens or something but i can see this running allot of people off

Hello, I know that this kick is frustrating. :frowning: but you should be receiving ALL of the credits earned when you disconnect from a game. I will be double checking as soon as possible.
