Didn’t see a thread on this anywhere, apologies if it has already been posted.
This is a bug that has been happening since I started playing recently, where hitting CTRL + CAPS LOCK while in game would cause the screen to freeze. It could be unfrozen by alt tabbing or by hitting escape or enter, but the screen would freeze again if any non modifier keys were pressed (so almost all keys excluding alt, ctrl, tab, etc…). Again, hitting enter, alt tab, or escape would stop the freeze again.
The fix I found was to hit CTRL+CAPS+~ to return the game back to normal where I was able to hit keys without freezing the game again.
Before I found the fix I also found that keys could be pressed if I was also holding down the CTRL key (which resulted in a lot of crouch walking and uncomfortable finger positions trying to hold CTRL SHIFT [w,a,s,d].
I don’t know if the command is opening some buffer that is eating the key presses or what, and I would also imagine it doesn’t happen to everyone since I haven’t seen a post on it.
I play on Windows 8, my keyboard is the Logitech G510s and this happens in all display modes (windowed, fullscreen, borderless].
Hopefully this is enough information, I’ll try to add any additional information that’s needed.
