[GAME BUG] filters in in-game browser doesnt work

After the latest patch the free text filter in the in-game browser doesnt work. whatever you write doesnt make any difference for the search result. In other words we cant filter out servers we cant/shouldnt/wont join.
Also the ping filter have to be re-applied to work and this must be done after the search is done.

It does, it just works differently now.

For example, to how all servers in australia except for max level 5 servers I put ‘aus -max’ in the filter box. If I wanted to show na east and na west servers I could type ‘east west’.

Spacing seems to separate key words and doesn’t get treated as a normal space unless you use " and ". Eg. ‘“east - obj” -max’. Or whatever the server names look like.

ok, so i need the ’ around the text and not write the server name as it is really named?
Writing only EU doesnt give EU only server… So that would be ‘EU’ ?
I should write ‘EU -Obj’ if i only want eu servers, not with level cap and objective mode?
IE remove the spacing even tho the name actually got a space? (EU - Objective)

Guess ill change my report:
please let the free text filter to filter when you write a server name 100% equal to the server name, instead of having you to use ’ , and remove spacing. :slight_smile:

Don’t use the ’ and '. I was just using those to show what I put in.

‘EU -Obj’ should show all EU servers except objective mode ones. What other servers show up when you type only EU? Does EU fit in the name of the servers that are showing up at all? Perhaps try "EU " Note the space. ‘"EU " -Obj’ to do EU servers with no objective mode.

I got it now. Tested yesterday and understands now that it treats the - as minus.
so instead of searching for the server name you need to use - and + between each word to add or remove words. so if you want only servers named “EU - Objective 8v8” you need to type EU +obj +8v8

however when i type only EU i get all servers for some reason unless i use the ping filter as well. and the ping filter needs some times to be re-applied to work.

but i understands how it works now so case closed i guess.
