[Game Bug] - "Everyone in the server crashes"

I was playing with people in mumble, and we joined a server on the Underground map. We got to the second round in stopwatch, and about 2 minutes in the game froze in a sound loop and everyone’s game went “not responding”. Several minutes later the same thing happened in Trainyard. Oh, apparently it just happened again. It seems to have nothing to do with the server, and it isn’t clear what could be causing it in game.

i just suffer same bug, but it was exactly after my friend joinde server… TESTED… game run normally, after he join whole game stucked a he was alone on server and saw like everyone left… we played normally till today, he said that he doesnt chnage anything… so dont know whats happening

What was your friend’s steam name? I ask because it might have to do with the problem.

ok … now some more information … after i check his computer for viruses i found like 5000 infections by w32/filecoder.w.gen so that was probably cause of problem… :confused:

That shouldn’t cause everyone else in a match to crash.

probably some security procausions of servers … dont know … but we tested it even after disinfection(before reinstalling whole os) and still game crashed for all players after he join or pick objective

I think that his name might have special characters in it which crashes the server.

after wiping and reinstallation whole system he plays normal now…
