So I’ve found a consistent bug, that is fairly easy to reproduce on all mercs with a charged up ability. For now I just found it to happen on Fragger and Pheonix. When cooking the grenade or charging the healing pulse, if you change weapons before releasing the ability key, it will consume your ability and start the cool down although the abilty hasn’t been launched, i.e. no greande has left your hand, nor falls to the ground. It just vanishes. Same for the pulse, it never gets out.
Would be expectable that when switching to a weapon it would either throw the grenade, launch the pulse and then switch to a weapon or cancel the ability like it currently does, but without consuming the cool down. Otherwise it’s just unfair.
