Please add feature, when the server is full it will try to auto-reconnect when there is free slot.

If you join a friend via the steam friends list rather than trying from ingame, it gives you the option to wait till there’s a free slot.

You can load up the steam friends list… while you’re ingame. It’s an option available now rather than waiting… use it while it isn’t available ingame.

asmo doesn’t have any friends though…

He’s saying he needs a way to do it without having to join a server his friends are one.

I know exactly what he wants, I was merely highlighting a similar option that is available at the moment. I admit I did like the idtech3 games way of just leaving you there until a slot became available and then auto-joining… should be a standard for any game tbh.

They added this on ETQW too in the final patches.

btw is there a way to tell a server is dedicated? It just came to my attention that any joe shmoe can run their own server from in game and it’s running on their crappy pc/connection that cant handle the player amount. (or am I wrong on this?)

Well, I know when you play campaign that before the game launches, you can select to set the game to private or public, leading me to believe that at least for that part of the game you can host from your PC.

This is from the bullet hell forums.

I haven’t ever seen the server, but it could have been down the few times I actually looked at the full server list.

all of my friends stick to BFBC2 while waiting for BF3, wont touch Brink, i’m alone here.
tho not sure if it’s reason to be sad :smiley: BFBC2 & Brink, but i admit, BFBC2 is way more addictive than Brink…
