Question about G_SoundIndex in ET-SDK 2.60.
I’ve been modding quite heavily lately and had quite a few areas where sounds were
added on the server-side and client side. On the client side I’ve cached the registration
of sounds at init-time. On the server side, it seems all the code uses G_SoundIndex
heavily, but never caches the result; so the same sounds require repeated calls to
G_SoundIndex. Is this necessary or can I store at init-time all G_SoundIndex’s that
will be needed?
