Hi does g_banner work?

i have tried this on my testserbver:

g_banner_1	 = "Welcome on JESUS-TEST-SERVER"
g_banner_2	 = ""
g_banner_3	 = ""
g_banner_4	 = ""
g_banner_5	 = ""
g_banner_6	 = ""
g_banner_7	 = ""
g_banner_8	 = ""
g_banner_9	 = ""
g_banner_10	 = ""
g_banner_11	 = ""
g_banner_12	 = ""
g_banner_13	 = ""
g_banner_14	 = ""
g_banner_15	 = ""
g_banner_16	 = ""
g_banner_delay	 = "10"
g_banner_loopdelay	 = "30"

but nothing happens…

the g_banner from splashdamage has been broken since W:ET as far as I know :stuck_out_tongue:

i dont think those cvars work… look in the pdf manual… its si_motd 1, si_motd, 2, etc… but those cvars aren’t working yet per the manual.

si_motd_1 has nothing to do with g_banner_1, scubs

banners show as a loop (or not) during the game

any other way to do advertising on my server?

Cause PB is also gone…

The thing I find lacking is when I join a friend via steam, there is absolutly no way of telling what server I am on :confused:

You could always have a look what server your friend is on before joining them :tongue:

just type

serverinfo

in the console… so no problem

Just use an Spambot… Type in Time and Text and use it on your server Works great xDDDD

still, in EVERY other game I played, pressing tab would at least show the servers name :confused:
