Arkoral system area would be cool, or some specific fight in the fields where it is (grown?) I want to fight in some kind of biosphere area like out of Andronema Strain. Just a weird place that you are like "I know I am on the Ark, but what the F*** were they doing here…but whatever it is it doesn’t seem “nice” kind of place. Just an area that is a mindf***. Like, what were they doing here? Can we get out of here? That sort of place. Like were people sleeping here, kind of place. Hyperbolic chambers. Just freaky stuff.

This could make for a good dynamic map where machinery is constantly moving, Arkoral is growing then being cut and transported away. If you don’t get your timing right you’ll get crushed or sawed or the ledge that was there a second ago is now gone.

Fantastic idea. Ark was meant to be self sustaining so water treatment plants, delsalination areas, sewers, agriculture, power plants, housing - how about some nice safe security housing areas to contrast with say container city, the docks, one of the areas that links the “Guests” areas to the main Ark - perhaps the Secuirty want to blow those massive iron chains to let the Guests float off…

Def needs an area like a floating suburb, boat houses mixed with docks and waterways. Anyone been to the Klongs in Bangkok? Thats what I am thinking.

Seems a bit odd to have a massive floating city somewhere out in the oceans of the world and not have maps based around water!

Sounds good to me. We need the forum dude that had all the twisted ideas for “traps” to embellish this. lol. I could imagine large automatic processing bots that gather the Arkoral.

Wow wow you guys all forgot one thing, THE TRAIN LINE! maybe resistance have to escape via it(it like a monorail held up by pilars) and the round is 10 minutes, but every 2 minutes a bit erodes away and they either have to destroy a mast, to rebuild the bridge(mast falls on hole) or build one with engineers(Yes you can do either on any bridge)

My 2 cents.

How about a Broadcast Station. What ever Mokena is using to broadcast his (shipyard) propaganda. Perhaps Resistance want to take it over so they can broadcast the truth.

That would go hand-in-hand with the Radar/Communications area idea. Good thinking.

SD pay attention. We’re doing your job for you here. We’re coming up with maps, identifying where they could fall in the plotline, discussing stories behind them, and identifying potential objectives. All that’s left is for you to make them.

Good idea though. As someone else said we clearly see the monorail both in the opening for and in the actual Terminal level.

How about a battle for a Submarine. Under the street level.

Maybe sewer battle could lead to this objective. Like through the sewers is the only covert way to get to the sub as they dump out by the docks or something like that. I was thinking about a sub mission when I was thinking about the boats.

The sub idea would have also worked in something like the labs (considering it’s submerged). Like it’s in a room where it can surface in the lab and you are fighting to get to it.

I recall that a Submarine was mentioned in the Audio Logs? Not 100% on that, but I thought there was. Anyone know for sure? But, yeah, a battle to blow it up would be cool, or try to access it. Maybe you take the Submarine to an undisclosed safe haven for the Founders deep under water. Maybe, they control everything from there? Or it leads to the tower. Like if the Ark fails, the Founders already have a back-up plan. Hey, if I was a Founder I’d plan for every contingency!

I always wanted a map based on The Rock. Security need to infiltrate the complex via the sewers and shower rooms, they then need to push to the mid-level and hack into the computer system, from there they need to take the firing codes and get to the missile on the roof and disarm it before it fires.

I could see another section of container city being a good first mapping project. All the bits are so modular it would be fun to mock up areas with just the shipping containers. Not super imaginative, I know, but it’d be quick 'n fun.

A Security Training Facility would be cool. (Think Goldeneye) Where the recruits are trained. Maybe this is near the colosseum idea posted by someone else above^
